As a participant of the event, on top of a well needed vacation, you will receive plenty of goods and services to help celebrate your accomplishments. Both the full marathon and half marathon courses will have plenty of on-course water and aid stations and finishers of both events will receive a custom designed technical fabric shirt, and a unique one-of-a-kind finisher's medal.

The Bakers Dozen Series is comprised of 13 Half-Marathon events that are produced by Northwest-based organizations (AKA “Home Baked Miles”). These events give back to their local communities in numerous ways, including the support of local charities, children’s programs, high school sports programs, as well as health and fitness initiatives across the NW.

The Whidbey Island Marathon/Half Marathon/5K thanks, Nichole Porath for visiting us! Nichole was the 2012 Olympic Trials athlete who finished with a 2:44:12 marathon and is the World Record Holder for the Women’s Indoor Marathon time. She was in Oak Harbor at the North Whidbey Middle School on April 13, 2013 speaking at the Health & Fitness Expo at 1:00pm and 3:00pm about her journey and what makes a runner who never achieved All-America honors at the D3 level think that she can run with the best in the US. Everyone enjoyed her visit and she took 1st Place in the women's category!! Congrats Nichole!
