Whidbey Island is the perfect island weekend getaway where you can leave the city behind. Just north of Seattle, nestled up in Washington State's Puget Sound is Whidbey Island, the second longest island in the continental USA. As a destination vacation playground for many, the island provides a vehicle accessible getaway from the busier mainland. Providing picturesque ocean views and tranquil farmland, the full marathon and half marathon courses of the Whidbey Island Marathon & Half Marathon are
currently under revision, but promise to be as scenic and challenging as ever.

As a participant of the event, on top of a well needed vacation, you will receive plenty of goods and services to help celebrate your accomplishments. Both the full marathon and half marathon courses will have plenty of on-course water and aid stations and finishers of both events will receive a custom designed technical fabric shirt, and a unique one-of-a-kind finisher's medal.
This course is USATF certified and is a Boston Qualifier..
