Water Stations will be located every 1-1/2 miles to 2 miles apart. NUUN  will be at every other station with water and we will have GU Energy Gels at miles 4 and 10. There will be basic medical supplies at each station including, but not limited to bandages, antiseptic creams, Vaseline for chaffing and heat blankets. Porta Potties will be located at each water station.

Clothing Bag Check area will be located near the start line. We will provide bags for you to place your clothing in or you are welcome to bring your own as long as your bib number is placed on the outside of the bag.

Shuttle Information

Shuttles will begin transporting runners at 5:45 a.m. from SR 20 / Bayshore Drive area between the 7-11 and Whidbey Island Bank up to  the start line for the Half marathon.  The last bus will depart by 6:30 a.m.  We don’t recommend waiting ’til the last bus as everyone has that same idea, which could cause you to be delayed if there are too many people for the final bus.

Shuttles will also be available at the following Oak Harbor hotels: Coachman Inn, Best Western, Candlewood Suites, and Auld Holland Inn .

Pacers will be on the course.

Course Description
Notice: 
THIS IS NOT A CLOSED COURSE, PLEASE BE AWARE  The course will be coned, flagged and marked for your protection. We will have course marshals, certified flaggers and police stationed throughout the course, but please be aware of all traffic. We will have motorcycles as well as HAM Radio Operators monitoring the course and basic first aid needs available at all water stations. Water stations and porta-potties will be located every 1 1/2 – 2 miles on the course.

If you are a walker please be careful to allow runners to pass. Do not walk together in rows as this can be quite difficult for a runner to get by.
