Whidbey Island is the perfect island weekend getaway where you can leave the city behind. Just north of Seattle, nestled up in Washington State's Puget Sound is Whidbey Island, the second longest island in the continental USA. As a destination vacation playground for many, the island provides a vehicle accessible getaway from the busier mainland. Providing picturesque ocean views and tranquil farmland, the full marathon and half marathon courses of the Nature's Path Whidbey Island Marathon & Half Marathon are definitely paths through nature.

As a participant of the event, on top of a well needed vacation, you will receive plenty of goods and services to help celebrate your accomplishments. Both the full marathon and half marathon courses will have plenty of on-course water and food stations and finishers of both events will receive a custom designed technical fabric shirt, a unique one-of-a-kind finisher's medal and plenty of healthy organic food at the post-race finish line festivities. If you purchase tickets for the New Organic Pasta Dinner that takes place in conjunction with the Event Expo on Saturday, you will also have the opportunity to mingle with your fellow race participants while eating a menu of nutritious and healthy organic foods provided by Nature's Path Foods and our other event sponsors.
Finally, if you finish first in your gender in the full marathon run, you will have your photo placed on 4.5 million of the Nature's Path Optimum brand cereal boxes that are distributed all across North America. Prize money cannot buy that kind of fame!
This course is USATF certified and is a Boston Qualifier..
